QUESTS

OVERVIEW

Questing is the best way to get lump sums of experience, points, and items. A player created quest will have no gamemaster interaction. You are responsible for dictating your own fighting, dancing, eating, or whatever you need to do for your quest.

Event quests run by a gamemaster will have greater rewards and will in some cases have active participation by the gamemaster responsible for it.

CREATING QUESTS

Creating quests is a simple matter. Pick a level and pick a goal. That's pretty much it. Quest levels range from 1 to 100.

Solo quests are only possible at the character's current level or lower. Party quests are limited to the average level of the party. Note that there must be no more than three levels between the highest and lowest level character. Party quests may consist of no more than five characters.

To apply, simply fill out the form below and submit it to the quest board. If the quest is left open for other players to join, it is the creator's responsibility to inform the staff when everything is in order. Please make sure that the topic title reflects the name and level of the quest (i.e. Hunting Boars [Level 1]).
The quest may not begin before receiving the approval of a member of the staff.


COMPLETING QUESTS

Once a quest has been completed or simply come to a stop, the creator or the remaining player must reply to the initial quest thread. Following this, a member of the staff will distribute the rewards.

REWARDS

EXP is given based on the length and quality of a post. In terms of quality, rule violations as well as grammar and spelling will reduce the amount of EXP received.

Party quests receive an additional 50 EXP per player.

Items are rewarded based on several different factors. Some of these involve the number of foes slain and the actual goal of the quest. The items given are completely random in both nature and number, but remain specific to which kind of monster you are hunting.

LIMITATIONS

Quests initiated before receiving the final approval by a member of the staff are automatically nullified. It is the player's responsibility to make sure that everything is in order before proceeding.

Players are limited to two solo quests per week. Quest limits reset on Sunday of each week. Furthermore, regardless of character count, no player may participate in more than five quests at any given time.
