	Town Of Beginnings Town of Beginnings is the start of every SAO player's adventure. It's here, in this pleasant city, that the new and adventurous can meet up with other like minds and strike out into the great expanse of level 1. Shops are abound, mostly supplied by hardier adventurers, which means new players will lack for nothing! Clarkswood Meadows Clarkswood meadows is the area immediately surrounding Town of Beginnings. Gentle hills and tall grass define the beginner's expanse, and offer new players a chance to get their bearings on some low level foes. Trees are sparse, but the view from the top is certainly breathtaking and always worth the climb. Behlorean Timberland Named after Nature's most ardent supporter, Behlor, the Behlorean Timberland is a moderate expanse of woods that stretches between lake esmerelda and the barrow downs. While relatively peaceful, there have been reports of bears and other woodland folk turning increasingly aggressive. Adventurers looking to hone their survival skills will find plenty of challenges within the cool shade of the timberlands. Lake Esmerelda Lake Esmerelda sits on the northernmost edge of clarkswood meadows, and extends as far as the eye can see. The water, still as glass, reflects the hills surrounding as far as the eye can see. Spend enough time on the lake, however, and you'll spot some very deep recesses in the lake bed. Who knows what sort of foes lie in wait in the shadows of Esmerelda! Cottonwood Cave Nestled between two verdant hills on the fringes of lake esmerelda lies a deep inlet of water known as Cottonwood Cove. The shoreline is dotted with fishing huts and humble gardens, presumably occupied by local NPCs, and a few farm animals can be seem roaming the area. Travel between the village and The Town of Beginnings is fairly sparse, however there is the occasional barge that brings supplies and small luxuries to the village in exchange for raw materials that can be processed in Town of Beginnings. Adventurers can take a brief respite here before moving on to more dangerous zones. The Barrow Downs Eschewed by NPCs of good standing, the Barrow Downs are a collection of hills and stone monoliths that dot the outer regions of floor 1. Rumors of the rising dead have surfaced, and as such the region is widely regarded as off limits. This of course, doesn't stop the intrepid adventurers that have ventured in to take a peek. Beware, though, the warm green hills are deceptive under the shadow of great stone monoliths.	0	0
